Andy has extensive experience in the acquisition and management of hospitality and real estate assets globally.

He has over 20 years experience in commercial and investment banking and has served on the board of directors of several hotel companies including International Hotel Investments PLC and Kerzner International, the operator of the Atlantis and One & Only brands.

In 2011, he was appointed as Group Managing Director of Dubai World, a global holding company with over US$32 billion under management during his tenure. In this role, Andy oversaw a significant debt restructure involving US$14 billion of debt spread across c. 90 lending institutions.

In addition, from 2010 to late 2013 Andy was CEO of Dubai World’s investment company: Istithmar World where he managed a global portfolio of more than 85 assets comprising US$12 billion under management across real estate, hospitality and private equity.

His responsibilities included managing a number of prime hospitality assets including The Mandarin Hotels in New York and Las Vegas, W Hotels in New York, Washington and Bangkok, Aria Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas and the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology UK.
